Office & Safety Coordinator

Salary: $ 32,458 annually


  • Perform secretarial and administrative responsibilities for assigned division.
  • Assemble the collection and preparation of reports.
  • Oversee Health and Safety operations as required.
  • Chair two (2) Health and Safety Committees and Safety Inspections committee.
  • Attend Health and Safety sub committee.
  • Maintain and distribute Health and Safety manual.
  • Process GERs for day services and assist with proper documentation and process for residential services.
  • Maintain all CARF Health and Safety standards.
  • Ensure efficient office area operation including all equipment, flow of supplies, daily staff coverage, timely completion of typing assignments, mailings, reception desk interaction and coverage of phones.
  • Coordinate assigned projects and assist in coordinating office services.
  • Complete specialized billing and supplemental and assistive technology and back up support.
  • May directly supervise clerical staff and maintain daily operation of office area as assigned.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Monday through Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.


  • High School Diploma
  • Secretarial Certificate and two years college.
  • Bachelors preferred.
  • Four years of progressive responsibility in a secretarial position.
  • Typing Ability: 60-65 words per minute.
  • Three years supervisory experience preferred.
  • Three years word processing and/or computer experience with knowledge in Excel, Word, data base, desktop publishing and the internet.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
  • Access offsite locations through own means of transportation.
