Supported Living OptionsSupported Living at the Kennedy Center

Since the inception of the Supported Living Program in 1990, The Kennedy Center has been committed to providing individualized support services to those individuals who have acquired the necessary independent living skills to live in their own home.

This program encourages and enables individuals to live as independently as possible and stresses the importance of individual choice and participation in their community.

A guide to providing this service has been a Supported Living Assessment, which has been completed on each individual prior to his or her consideration for independent living.
