Children's Services

The Kennedy Center children's services, birth to three, autism project, social activity groups

The Kennedy Center Children’s Services partners with families to provide community-based, flexible and individualized services that meet both the family and child's preferences. Children ages birth to 21 with disabilities or special needs receive therapeutic, recreational, educational, and social options that are offered year-round.

To Make a Referral
Parents, referring agencies, and schools are welcome to email our Children’s Services or call 203-332-4535, Ext. 292 to make a referral, to receive information on any of our services, or to learn about other services in the Greater Bridgeport area and statewide.

What Happens Next
Once The Kennedy Center receives a referral, we will contact you within 48 hours to discuss your inquiry. If a potential service or program is identified, initial paperwork will be sent and an intake will then be scheduled for the start of services. If your child is referred by The Connecticut Birth to Three System, the intake process is different.

Program Fees
All programs are offered on a fee-for-service basis unless otherwise specified. Minimal scholarships may be available for select programs.
