What We Do
Transitional Living Services
The Kennedy Center Transitional Living Services assess an individual’s ability to perform various tasks around the home in order to live independently and based on the evaluation, the individual is taught the skills that they are lacking. A hands-on teaching process allows various training techniques to be utilized and implemented which include such activities as meal planning and preparation, food shopping, budgeting money, home maintenance, hygiene maintenance, organization and planning.
Often these supports are 24-hour in nature with a plan for fading down to independent living. This is not a service funded by the ABI Medicaid Waiver but the concept is supported through the bundling of various other services.
