What We Do
Project TWENTY is a community experience program that can be compared to a “college-like” environment. Recent graduates of high school expressing a desire to see what the world has to offer through real-world experiences are taught the importance of vocational skills and continuous learning.
Time can be split between Project TWENTY and different work sites, such as Kennedy Industries' Maintenance Crew, Unifirst, and Kennedy Industries' Workshop. A variety of community trips, from swimming at the YMCA to visiting local museums are part of the curriculum. The vision of the program is to allow the participants to be themselves and enjoy being young, while teaching the skills necessary to be successful in both the community and in the workplace.
