Help us "Raise the Bar" for children, teens and young adults with Autism by joining us Thursday, July 18, for The Kennedy Center BrewFest at The Hops Company in Derby, CT between 6 - 9pm.
This will be the second year for the BrewFest, but first time at The Hops Company - Connecticut's premiere beer garden. Enjoy a wide selection of craft beers, wine, spirits and food. Try your skills at corn hole and the giant Jenga game and enjoy live music by the Merwin Mountain Band. It's a great time for a great cause!
The Brewfest is an unofficial kick-off to the 5k Autism SpectRUN on Sunday, Sept. 8 at Jennings Beach in Fairfield.
Both events benefit 'raising the bar' for children, teens and adults with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. Proceeds will help The Kennedy Center continue to offer essential supports and expand existing programs, including through introducing more functional skill program opportunities; develop additional parent workshops; and add more specialized navigation and employment services for teens transitioning into adulthood.
Tickets for the BrewFest start at $60, followed by a $100 Hero Level and a $150 Champion Level. The event will also include a Silent Auction. The event is for people 21 years of age or older.
Call 203.365.8522, Ext. 2039 for more information.
