UPDATE: Kennedy Center Program Closures, March 16-April 3

The Kennedy Center is proactively monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation in our state and we are taking immediate action to best protect the health of those we support, our employees, families and community partners. 

From Monday, March 16 through Friday, April 3, the following programs will be closed: The Autism Project, Transition to Employment (T2E) and Community Experience Programs, including:

Individualized Recreational Services will not be provided.

Individual Vocational Services will continue although there may be a reduction in hours.

Competitive and group employment services will continue. Job sites will continue to operate; however, changes may occur with short notice. Staff will be in touch with individuals who are still scheduled to work.

Residential services, In-Home Support (IHS) and the Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) program will continue operating.

Transportation for operations that remain open will continue.

This is a fluid situation, with new recommendations from the State of Connecticut’s leadership each day. We will continue to update you on any changes. If you are not already on our email list, please sign up here.
