Free Monthly Parent Information Workshops - Winter/Spring 2019
The Kennedy Center is hosting a series of free information workshops for parents/caregivers of children with special needs, focusing on a different topic each month.
Held on Monday evenings once a month, each workshop will be presented by Deborah A. Carroll, Ph.D, a professor at SCSU. Meetings will be held at The Kennedy Center's 39 Lindeman Drive campus in Trumbull from 5:30-7 p.m.
Monday, Feb. 4: Advocacy (Snow date: March 18)
Monday, March 4: Working with the Community for Summer Programming (Snow Date March 18)
Monday, April 8: Transition 18 and Beyond
Monday, May 6: Special Education Law with Attorney Lawrence Berliner.

This series is presented by The Kennedy Center's Autism Project and open to all parents/caregivers of children with special needs.
Parent Support Group 2019
This is an informal group for parents and caregivers of children with Autism and other special needs. Come for a night of sharing stories and supporting one another. The Parent Support Group meets monthly at 39 Lindeman Drive in Trumbull, Conn. Meetings are typically held on the first Wednesday of the month, from 6-8 p.m. CLICK FOR 2019 MEETING DATES.
